Define Connect Points

Every component class will have a set of defined connect point(s) used to determine where other components connect to the existing one.

Click the Connect Points button to display the HVAC Connect Points dialog, which allows you define as many connect points as needed for the custom component being created.
Once the Connect points are defined, they are listed in the Defined Connect Points pane of the Component Builder:
As you select a point in the pane, the connect point is highlighted on the component as shown below:
When finished defining the attributes for your component, click Save to complete the process.
To place the new component in a model, use the Place Component from Cell option.
